About blending modes

This blending mode determines how the pixels blend with underlying pixels in the picture.
We can create various special effects using blending modes.
By default, the blending mode of a group is Pass Through,
which means that the group does not possess its own mix.

List ways how Blending
Selecting from the mode pop-up menu on the option bar.
Cat: Just a Normal, Dissolve, Darken, Multiply, Lighten, Linear Dodge (Add), Difference, Hue, Saturation, Color, Luminosity, Lighter Color and Darker Color blending modes are available for 32 bit images.
Normal
Edit or paint every pixel to make the result color. This is the default mode. (Normal mode is called Threshold when we are working with a bitmapped or indexed color images.)
Dissolve
Edit or paint every pixel to make the result color. However, the result color is a random pixel placement with the basic color or color mix, depending on the opacity of the pixel in several locations.
Behind
Edit or paint that can only be on part of the transparent layer. This mode works only in layers with Lock Transparency deselected and is comparable to print on the back of a transparent area on a sheet containing acid.
Clear
Edit or paint every pixel and make transparent. This mode is provided for Shape tools (when mangisi selected area), Paint Bucket tool, the Brush tool, Pencil tool, the Fill command, and the Stroke command. We should be in layers with Lock Transparency deselected to use this mode.
Darken
Look at the color information in each channel and select a basic color or mix-whichever is darker-as the result color. Pixels lighter than the blend color is removed, and pixels darker than the blend color is not changed.
Multiply
Look at the color information in each channel and multiplying the base color with the color mix. result color is always a darker color. Doubling the number of color with black will produce a black color. Doubling the number of colors with white, no color changes. as we give a color with another color except black or white, successive strokes with a painting tool will also produce colors that are progressively darker. The effect similar to drawing on the image with multiple marking pens.




Color Burn
Look at the color information in each channel and darkens the base color to reflect the blend color by increasing the contrast. Blending with white, did not produce any change.
Linear Burn
Look at the color information in each channel and darkens the base color to reflect the blend color by decreasing the brightness. Blending with white, did not produce any change.
Lighten
Look at the color information in each channel and select a basic color or mix-whichever is lighter-as the result color. Pixels darker than the blend color is removed, and pixels lighter than the blend color is not changed.
Screen
Look at the color channel information and multiplying the inverse of color mixture and the base. result color is always a lighter color. Screening with black color, no color changes. Screening with white colors will produce white. His influence equal to double the design of a photographic slide over each-tiapnya.
Color Dodge
Look at the color information in each channel and explain the basic colors to reflect the blend color by decreasing the contrast. Blending with black, does not produce any change.
Linear Dodge (Add)
Look at the color information in each channel and explain the basic colors to reflect the blend color by increasing the brightness. Blending with black, does not produce any change.
Overlay
Doubling or filter the colors, depending on the color of the base. Creating Patterns or colors overlay the existing pixels for maintaining the parts of light and dark in color base. The basic color is not replaced / removed but blended with a mixture of colors reflects the lightness or darkness untul the original color.
Soft Light
Meggelapkan or explain the colors, depending on the color mix. Equal influence to shine a spot light scattered in the picture. If the blend color (light source) are brighter than the 50% gray, the image is explained as the image in color dodged.jika mixture is darker than 50% gray, the image was darkened as these images in the burned ins. drawing with a black or pure white will result in darker areas or light with a different, but do not produce in black or pure white.
Hard Light
Doubling or filter the colors, depending on the color mixture. Equal influence to shine a harsh light point on image. If the blend color (light source) are brighter than 50% gray, the image is explained, as the image is filtered. This is useful for adding highlights to the image. If the blend color is darker than 50% gray, the image was darkened, as the image is multiplied. This is useful for adding shadows to the image. Drawing in black or pure white will result in black or pure white.
Vivid Light
Burns or dodges the color by increasing or decreasing the contrast, depending on the color mixture. If the blend color (light source) are brighter than the 50% gray, the image is explained by lowering the contrast. If the blend color is darker than 50% gray, the image darkened by increasing the contrast.
Linear Light
Burns or dodges the colors by decreasing or increasing the brightness, depending on the color mixture. If the blend color (light source) are brighter than the 50% gray, the image is explained by increasing the brightness. If the blend color is darker than 50% gray, the image darkened by lowering the brightness.
Pin Light
Replaces the colors, depending on the color mixture. If the blend color (light source) are brighter than 50% gray, pixels darker than the blend color is removed, and the pixels are brighter than the color of the mixture that has not changed. If the blend color is darker than 50% gray, pixels lighter than the color of the mixture is transferred, and pixel-poxel darker than the blend color is not changed. This is useful for adding special effects to the image.
Hard Mix
Adding the value of color channel red, green and blue in color mixture to RGB color values at the base. If the sum of the channel is 255 or greater, it accepts values at 255, if less than 255, its value at 0. therefore, all the pixels values that have a color channel red, green and blue are mixed well at 0 or 255. Change all pixels of this pixel to the primary colors: red, green, blue, cyan, yellow, magenta, white, or black.
Difference
Look at the color information in each channel and reduce every color of the mixture of primary color or base color of mixed colors, depending on which one has the greater brightness value. Blending with white color would turn the base color values; blending with black produces no change.
Exclusion
Creating a similar effect, but lower in contrast than the different modes. Blending with white color would turn the base color values. blending with black produces no change.
Hue
Creating a result color with the luminance and saturation on the basis of color and hue in the color mix.
Saturation
Creating a result color with the luminance and hue and saturation in basic colors in the color mix. Drawing with this mode in an area with no (0) saturation (gray) because there was no change.
Color
Creating a result color with the luminance on the basis of color and hue and saturation in color mixtures. It maintains the image gray levels and is useful for coloring monochrome images and drawings to give the color of color images.
Luminosity
Creating a result color with the hue and saturation on the basis of color and luminance in the color mix. This mode creates an inverse effect of Color mode.
Lighter Color
Comparing the total of all value channels to mix colors and basic colors and color showed a higher value. The lighter color does not not produce a third color, which can result from a mixture of light, for selecting the highest channel value of the two basic colors and color mixtures to create the result color.
Darker Color
Comparing the total of all value channels to mix colors and basic color and the color shows a lower value. Darker colors do not produce a third color, which can produce a mixture of the dark, because choosing the lowest value channel of the two basic colors and color mixtures to create the result color.
