ILLUSTRATOR : Working with Style

When we create an image, we can determine the attributes of the image,
such as thickness and color of stroke, fill color option, give a certain effect and other attributes.
When we create different graphic form, and we intend to make the same attributes on the object to be created it,
then to facilitate, we can store the entire set of attributes such as a definition of the so-called Style.
Once this style is stored in the Style palette, we can apply a set of definitions of these attributes on other objects that we want.

Using the Style Palette
Through the style palette we can control every aspect of style, of which we can create and name the style, modify the style
already stored, then apply the style to a selected object. And finally, of course, the style that has not
used can be removed from the style palette.
If the screen has not appeared Illustrator style palette, we can display the menu Window> Symbols or Shift F11.
Besides the buttons on the picture above, we can also utilize the menu accessed by clicking the menu button on the top right corner of the palette style.

New Style, to define a new style.
Duplicate Style, to duplicate an existing style.
Style merge, to combine two style definitions.
Style Delete, delete the existing style in the style palette.
Break Link to Style, to decide the relationship between objects.
Select All Unused, to select the Style unused.
Sort by Name, sort the collection of styles on the palette in the order named.
Thumbnail View, featuring a collection of styles on the palette in accordance with thumbnail view.
Small List View, featuring a collection of styles on the palette with the form of small pieces.
Large List View, featuring a collection of styles on the palette with a larger form.
Override Character Color, the menu is devoted to text. If Override
Character Color in an active position (there are signs of tick marks), the text given
This style will assume the definition of stroke, fill and transparency which
there. However, if this option is off (no tick marks), then the
carried by the text fills only the color of his choice alone.
