Illustrator: Abbout text

Among the most powerful aspects of Adobe Illustrator is a feature textnya.

We can add a line type of artwork, create columns and rows of text,

flow text into a shape or along a path,

and working with letterforms as graphic objects.

We choose the fonts and settings that we select in Illustrator for leading, kerning,

and space before and after paragraphs are examples of the appearance of text in the artwork.

Enter the text along a path
Do one of the following steps:
To make text horizontal in along a path, select the Type tool or the Type On A Path tool.
To create a vertical text along a path, select the appliance type of vertical or Vertical Type On A Path tool.
Specify the text formatting option in the Control Panel, Character panel or the Paragraph panel.

Position the cursor on the path, and click. (It does not matter if the path has been shaped stroke or fill attributes,
because Illustrator automatically delete it.)
If the path is closed, not open, we must use the Type On A Path tool.
Enter the text.
When we finished entering text, click the Selection tool to select the type of object. Alternatively, Ctrl-click.
